Here for you if you need support, and here for you if you want to support other ostomates!

Dear Friends,
We are so sad to inform you that our dear friend and St. Paul Ostomy Association President Eileen Bohrer passed away suddenly on Monday, February 15, 2021, in her home.
We send our sincere condolences to her husband Gene and to her large family of siblings, children, and grandchildren.
Eileen had boundless energy and enthusiasm for our support group, as well as for her many friends and partners in all of her social activities. It is hard, right now, to imagine going forward and continuing our mission of offering support and guidance to the ostomy community in St. Paul and our surrounding communities. But as we move through the coming days, we will do our best to be a resource for those in need, including the publication of our Pacesetter newsletter and meeting updates as they become known. Eileen spearheaded and organized our Zoom meetings for our group. We will resume those as soon as possible and will send out updates.
We will miss Eileen and will always appreciate the tremendous contributions she made to our group as a leader and as a friend.
Best regards, Patti Herubin, Pacesetter Editor, St. Paul Ostomy Association
